KPS Foundation, Inc. (KPSFI), celebrated its 18TH YEAR ANNIVERSARY last September 9, 2021, with the theme: “Building Resilience: Turning challenges into Success”. It was a simple celebration where all their officers, staff, and employees coming from General Santos City and other branches in Surallah, Koronadal City, Polomolok, South Cotabato Province, and Tacurong City, Sultan Kudarat Province, all gathered together to share their joys and sorrows as they have worked and journeyed with the urban poor organization.
The anniversary celebration was started with a Thanksgiving Mass offered at the Saint Vincent Ferrer Chapel, at Purok Magsaysay, KPS Village on Sunday, September 5. Then on the day of the celebration itself, September 9, two sets of activities were done: Staff Orientation and Development Session in the morning, and Team Building and 18th Anniversary Program in the afternoon.
There was some sort of KUMUSTAHAN (acquaintances), sharing what they have gone thru, what challenges they have undergone during these trying times of the pandemic. Some time was spent in GETTING TO KNOW EACH OTHER because some employees were newly hired.
Mr. Rodrigo ‘Boy’ Olarte, the founding chairperson and president inspired his co-officers and employees to work with passion, commitment, and loyalty as KPSFI continues to pursue its vision and mission by “working with the poor”.
The KPSFI 18th Year Foundation Anniversary was indeed a simple but memorable affair; where the officers and employees bonded together as one family of service providers, where they freely expressed their insights and impressions on how KPS Foundation Inc., has made a difference in their lives, as they have lived and worked with the serviced sectors for the past several decades now.
